bike temp...

right my bike runs about 65 degrees and its all fine but if it goes above 65 i get loads of flat sopts appeaering at about 6thou and also it splutters like mad but if it stays at about 60-65 its excellent
anyway was in some traffic today biggest traffic jam ever was init for about 45 mins and my bike temp got to 96 degrees !!
96!! thats way to fookin hot max id ave thought shud have been 85 at least?
how can i make it stay cool?

What bike is it? Not sure about the flat spots but 95 seems fine. My fan comes on about 103 and will over heat at about 115. It does overheat alot being a sportsbike being ridden through the town. Just depends on the bike.

In heavy traffic I turn mine off, the flat spot i believe is caused by the 28mm carb and an environmental restriction in the cdi, its probably just more noticable when it gets warmer.
