Right I brought my sachs xtc125 for 200 quid in January and have been restoring it since, I had it ready about a month ago until the power valve cover decided to pop off after a week of riding so I had to wait a month for it to come. This morning it arrived!! wahoooo it was amazing especially with the great weather I rode with a gixxer for a bit on some twistys while we were stuck behind some cars, until it zoomed off lol.
Anyway I was on the way back home on the a38 between Taunton and North Petherton (if your local you'll know) when I was going about 80-85mph not sure when all of a sudden the engine seized and the rear wheel locked up almost high siding and throwing me off. It had to have been one of the scariest experiences I've had!! Meh call me a pussy it was scary!
Luckily though I read somewhere to pull the clutch in so I did it straight away then the wheel regained grip and I cruised to a bus stop. Whatever that post was saved my fairings!!

Now I’m going to have to wait ages again until I can ride it, shit isn't it!! And of course my legs and other bones but you don't normally worry about them just how much it’s going to cost to fix!!

Mind you for 200 quid I still think it’s worth it

You've just had your first 2stroke seizure experience, it will be much more fun next time dont worry!
Ive seized 3 2strokes so far, and i still want a few more strokers to play with!

lol I hope they get better!! I'll have to get this rebuilt first and a pic-

It fucked my rear tyre up as well, great smell buring rubber! Thumbs Up

Yup I am, ordered it this week its a arrow tzr pipe they go straight on but its gonna take awhile to come I think they said 3 weeks or something.

You get quicker at it with practice! Doesn't help if you seize the gearbox as happened to a friend of mine (doing about 110mph on the M27 on a somewhat tuned RD350ypvs).

Just ride with your fingers over the clutch lever, just in case.
