This should probably be in the work shop but it's getting pretty desparate. This is on the behalf of a mate

Went to Scarborough on Friday switches engine off on sea front, mate says have we to move up to that Café so we can have drink and keep an eye on the bikes, no prob say’s I. Ferkin no prob, alarm/immobiliser has activated and will not deactivate long story short 2hrs later and several calls to the recovery people, (who incidentally gave me two options if they could not start the Bird 1. put you up in a hotel for the night 2. Give you your bus fare home )either way they were no going to recover the bird the 107 miles home . Back to the point notice a damaged sticker under the seat that says press movement detection and arm/disarm buttons together, hey presto! alarm sprigs to life quickly start the old girl . breakdown vehicle arrives at this point, guy says glad you got it started know feck all about bikes, off he goes.
It’s now 8.00pm so sets, off just approaching the M621 junction in Leeds and fuel light comes on come of at next junction and stop at the first garage in Stourton to fill up, try to dissarm alarm feck all but I now know how to overcome this problem press the two buttons together Oh no, not a feckin thing it's now 9.15pm press, press, press It's got to work............. no it hasn't'. 11.00pm decide to call it a draw, ask the petol pump attendent if I can leave it overnight, yes he says but you'll have to leave it over thier so move the but alarm dosn't go off (which it has been doing all the feckin night )I'll just try it one more time me thinks, press both buttons again and alarm sprigs to life again ........... Could the alarm be afected by the heat of the engine ........... has anyone come across this sort of problem before
