i am now selling my rs as i want a 400. i am looking for something around £1500. it has done 14,000km(9000miles). it had a full engine rebuild 500km ago. both bottom and top end rebuilt, new crankshaft, con rod, seals, bearings, piston, piston rings and cylinder so its basically a new engine.
its the older shape which i think looks a lot better(black). fully derestricted with a powervalve fitted and 34mm carb.
taxed and mot'd till the end of the year.
not to sure if the clutch needs adjusting or the plates need replacing cause you can here them slipping with the clutch pulled in. i can adjust the clutch to stop this but then it slips when entering the powerband, if they do need replacing there £35 on ebay. its very ridable just becomes annoying sometimes.

hey there's people on ebay saying they can do 120+. i know when the clock says 110 it actaully means something in the 90's. the rs125 facts actaully state the bike can do it in 5.9sec some say 6.5sec.
i haven't actaully tried for top speed so i'm just writing what other people have put. |
