Hi
My GS500 is going, im absolutely sick of it. i have a budget of about £800 - £1000 to spend on a new bike, hoping my current insurance will transfer to a new bike for no extra cost. I basically want a bike that is reliable and wont give me any trouble, but that doesnt look that bad either. Idealy a NSR / TZR / RS something like that, i would drop down to a 125 to keep the insurance low untill i can afford a bigger bike, although if a VFR ZXR ZZR 400 etc came about at the right price i wouldnt say no to them either. Any help welcome...

FYI,

Insurance companies don't factor in that you're riding on 33BHP.

Insurance companies do use that as an aggravating factor.
If you are rdiding on a STANDARD restricted rs the insurance quote is cheaper.
de-restriced gives more power therefore making the insurance higher due to the further potential of accidents.
