My ped has been labouring for a while now, It used to be capable of a good 31 MPH but now, when it reaches 26 or so it seems to 4 stroke. Could this be caused by excess carbon build up in the exhaust? Wanna get this done before I sell it to a teacher at school, he loves it and it should pay for my insurance on the big bike.

Sounds like it could do with a little check over...

Whip the plug out, give it a good old clean up (I normally find old toothbrushes are ideal for this!)

If you can, give the exhaust a blow out (not back into the engine though Razz )

And generally give it a little clean over, carbs and jets etc... im sure you know the rest? Thumbs Up

lash half a the bottle of red ex in the fuel tank and the insides will be nice and clean lol

try some red ex i need to lash another bit of that in my ped!

Yeah, just needs a bit of TLC. I only rebuilt it a while ago, so it shouldn't be too bad.
