Haven't done it myself yet, but I've been told:

35 minutes end-to-end (10 mile ride approx where I live)

U-turn could be on any width road - you have to walk the bike round first to show that a U-turn is possible with your particular bike (and that you're safe pushing the bike).

Emergency stop - I've been told quick reactions are important, but a smooth controlled stop using both brakes is what's important - try to stop too sharply and you'll lock up.

But as I say - I haven't done my test yet!

I done my test in chingford a while back the roads the road i used was just round the back of chingford hatch, to be honest the road was massive i could have turned my car round in it!

If you get the examiner with ginger hair who follows you in your car your onto a winner!

Word of advice, when he sends you off to do your emergency stop he will send you round the block, it may be worth you trying one while your out of sight, calms you down abit (settled my nerves anyway), before you do it properly for the examiner!

If you are doing your test with CMST at Edmenton say hi to Roger, Pete, Paul etc!
