imported Italian NSR 125

Hi

I am changing the clutch on my bike and need a clutch center holder does anyone know where one can be purchased from? This is a special tool for an italian import. The local honda dealer did not help.

Also when in the top gear the bike will not go over 7000rpm is this a restriction. All other gears are fine

www.davidsilverspares.co.uk and it just sounds like there is shit in your carb. The import engine and english engines are the same and would not need anymore tools

David silver spares wanted over £100 for a clutch centre holder.

I had my engine out so what I did was get a length of UPVC (wood and sheet metal will also work) long enough to reach the floor, drilled 4 holes then bolted it tightly to the clutch basket, it pulls the plates together and is enough to lock the clutch with the bike in neutral, when the plastic is pushing against the ground the clutch isn't going to turn. I was also considering those huge emersion heater spanners, put a few together and bolt a long handle on and it could work.

Alternatively you can put the bike in first and get someone to sit on it and apply the back brake, or put a pole through the wheel spokes to lock the engine.

goto halfords. You can get clutch and gear pullers from there. Also valve spring compressors (i was surprised too!)
