What engine is this. Honda 25 bhp 125 ? any one know?

Ive aquired a Thai built LS 125 R. 99kg in weight. 25 BHP. Extremely quick for a 125. I thought it might be a NSR engine but it has no has no electric start and it dosent appear to ressemble a NSR engine when I compare it with pictures taken from a NSR manual. I cant believe Honda Thailand have designed and produced an engine specifically for the Thai market. Is it possibly taken from a Scrambler (Hence no electric start)? I would be grateful for any info on this as its a wicked bike. Im 48 ridden 1200 bandits and several ZX's but this bike is just such good fun I really want to look after it. Any info or ideas would be most appreciated.

Quick search shows that the bore and stroke are 55 x 52, which is not shares with the NS or the NSR. Don't think any of the CR125 motocross bikes are the same either.

Think it is an engine designed for the LS125. Runs a fairly small carb (24mm). 24hp @ 8500rpm.
