i live in a terrace flat, and have to leave my bike on the pavement outside my house, i know i am not suppose to do this but i don't majorly block the pavement, anyway i lock the bike to the iron fence at the front of the house, but recently people have been locking there push bikes in 'my' bike place, tonight there are 2 bikes there so i can't even squeeze my bike in. its no one in our house and i am pissed of as my bike has to be on the road!
i have 3 options

a) find the owners of the bikes and ask them to move them politly Angelic

b) lock the bikes up with my own locks! Razz

c) get the bolt cutters out! Twisted Evil

i know its extreme, but is there any legal thing like they are trespassing on the houses land by using the fence!

its on the boundary of the property and the pavement, small wall then a small iron fence, 4 of us rent the property. so really the property is the landlords.

Unless the landlord says you can do anything, I doubt you have a leg to stand on

Leave it and find somewhere else to park it. Don't think about touching the bicycles. I mean it. You never know what could happen. Try and find out and ask if you can would be the best thing you can do.

You touched my bicycle/lock and you'd have a dent in your tank.

I would place a sign on the fence saying that locked bicycles will be removed. Then leave a note on the bike, if their not gone within a couple of days, remove them. I'll bring my angle grinder! Laughing

True, considering you have no real right to touch them either you could end up putting yourself in an awkward situation.

And you never know, the bloke with the bike could be built like Mike Tyson and bite your face off

They might be members of a hard push-bike gang, so I would advise against even looking at their bikes again. Wink

Can you slide the bikes up the bars and leave them on the other side of the railings?

Reckon you need to use a little common sense on this one.
Sure you could go ballistic and kick the shit out of thier bikes.
If you did though and park your bike there the next night it wouldn't be to hard for em to figure it out.
If you're already worried about leaving it out on the road think how worried you would be about waiting for them to get pay back .

get your hacksaw out, and carefully saw the seat post to about half way through. That way when they ride off, the first big bump they hit will snap the saddle off and they will get sharp edged penetration! Laughing

Call me crazy but perhaps leave a polite note to them asking if it would be possible for them to chain their bikes elsewhere due to you not having many options as to where you leave your motorbike.
