Hi , im new to bcf, but am a toal bike-nut
I drive a TDR 125 and love the bike , but lately i've been hearing some rattling from the engine
I was told it could be the bearings? but am not sure.
It tends to happen between 4 and 7k revs during acceleration.
I'll admit i've been trying wheelies lately
which may b the cause, i also tend to drive at high revs ( but never redline it).
I'd really appreciate any ideas as to what this is and what i can do to fix it . Please , its driving me nuts

Ye i'm gona get it serviced 2morow. I just hope they dont rip me off.
Not sure where the rattling is coming from, but seems to be near the clutch cover. it sounds like something loose inside the engine
( piston rings? ) . I wish i new more about 2 stroke engines .
Can any1 recommend a website or book where i can learn more about engines.
I'd really like to be able to servive my bike.
I do like t drive the bike hard, and if shit starts to happen every time i do then i might have to go for a faster bike. (like CBR 250 )
Thanks for ur help ____________________ driving like a maniac is a way of life |
