Michelin power race tyres

has anybody used them before? as you may recall I lost a mate back on the 10th of May and had my bike up for sale ever since but I have this itch to ride the wheels off my bike and decided to strip the lights, mirrors and indicators off it and go racing! just club level easy fun stuff because I can't compete in superstock series because I have an extra 36cc's. Now I currently have Pilot Power tyres but I would like to know if power race tyres can let you brake deeper into the corner with more confidence and power out harder from the apex? And do they require tyre warmers to retain grip between sessions? what would they be like with no warmers I guess that I would need to do a few warm up laps but I have only ever ridden on pilot sports and pilot powers the pilot powers warm up really quick and by about 80 seconds of quickish riding you are ready for some quick times I have read articles about race tyres stripping 4 seconds+ off a lap time set by street tyres is this true?
