Could this be an issue of 'There are lots out there, but there just isn't one I want i.e £500, perfect condition, 4,000 miles, rare colour scheme, ten metres away from house etc'?

There's 21 ZXR400s on Biketrader at the moment, 4 of which are within 50 miles of Leeds city centre.

In the bemsee SuperSport 400 series they are 90% ZXR's, with the occasional VFR and the odd RVF.

They tuned ZXRs, CBRs, FZRs, RVFs, VFRs, etc for the Isle of Man.

The rider who won (good on 'ya Mr. McGuiness) has a lot to do with the equation upon applying said tuned power/suspension.

Same applies to road bikes.

Smokey Joe race paintwork, modified sponsers
Carbon Fibre Front mud guard
Carbon Fibre Hugger

Its all about losing a tooth of the front Smile gives u an edge over any other 400 that trys to keep with you off the bike and used to (before the single seat) impress pillions no end!

Forgot to mention the engine has been dyno'd at around 64bhp at the rear wheel, by a realistic dyno, which is enough for me!

All i realy want is the dymag wheels, new shock and an mhp dual can system and im happy Very Happy oh yeah and this....

https://www.carbon-vfr.de/bilder/hptank02.gif

weighs in at 1.5kilo..... Shocked

Just gotta search around mate.

I spent a couple of weeks spending every night checking eBay, Autotrader.co.uk, visordown, here, basically all over the place. Luckily the one I bought came up on eBay, emailed the guy and he said he'd take £1400, and in the end I managed to get it for £1375.

Just bide your time mate
