While my bike's sat at the moment I'm trying to get bits for it, and the main thing I'm after is replacing the tires. At the moment it's got BT014's on I think, but I was just wondering what people recommend for them?

Cheers

BT090, I used BT010s on mine (precursor to 014s) and they just never warmed up enough.

Cheers for that mate. Not really looking for tires with extreme performance, just something that will handle well enough and last.

In that case 010s may be ok for you, 090s are sports tyres and so won't last up to much mileage. I never had any issues on 010s just didn't have as much grip as I'd like. So go for something like D207s or stick with the 014s, pilot sports would probably work well too.

090's are only H rated if I remember rightly (up to 130mph). ZXR can do over 130 so I wasn't willing to risk it on them.

Super sticky (low miles, good grip) - Pirelli Supercorsas, Michellin Pilot Race, Bridgestone BT090, Dunlop GPR70

Dual Compound (medium miles, medium grip) - Bridgestone BT92, Dunlop GPR80

Tyres designed for a bigger bike (high miles, medium grip (when warm)) - Dunlop D207 (or D208 I think), Bridgestone BT014/010
