well some of the fairing nuts on my bike have decided to do a magical disappearance. so i was looking at getting some purple anodised ones or maybe normal one not sure yet. but are they strong enough or are they cheap things. just want to know if they are worth buying or a waste of money.
cheers

Hi

They should be strong enough (just make sure your stomach is if you go for the various hideous anodised colours). However the alloy ones are softer than the original ones so easier to round off (but a doddle to drill out) and more likely to seize.

All the best

Keith

Maybe a personal thing, but I don't like the look of coloured anodising, makes a nice bike look tacky.

How about stainless/titanium, I think Pro-Bolt stock them.

I was seriously un-impressed with my pro-bolt kit.

Didn't come with the right amount of bolts, or any nuts, and the rubber bits were too small and fitted through the fairing holes.

I had to use a fair bit of my own nuts/bolts.

And I paid ~£10 for the priviledge.
