The way you said "Simulation" suggests you were thinking of ways of making a "Fake" one? That would just make a woosh noise when you changed gear?
Am i right?

TBH I have also been thinking about this for some time now, and it was one of my "Jokey" projects i had dreampt (*sp?) up for the GS500, along with my "Dummy Alarm" etc... Wink

you could link up the clutch to a tape player so everytime u change gear it would go cruuuuuuuuttttshhhhh
would go really good on an rs50 would add an extra 30bhp at least

proper tacky crap, doesn't even sound like a dump valve, sounds too lazy.

i mean it's not exactly difficult to turbo an N/A car and setup fuelling and pipe in a dumpvalve and have the proper job..

anyway, chatter sounds better! Thumbs Up

They sound like utter bollocks, why not just appreciate yer bike for what it is and stop polishing a turd? (Not that I'm saying your bike is a turd Razz, I just mean if you want a bike that sounds like it has turbo, get a real turbo Smile Smile)

How about this then...

A pipe connected to the end of your exhaust, this pipe then runs to a tub or tube of some sort under your seat or where ever, the exhaust fumes build up inside the tube... as your revs get higher, the volume increases. Connect a thin stick to your clutch lever and the top of the tube. When you pull the clutch in, the stick pulls the lid off the tub and the fumes go "wwssshhhhhh" out of a small hole in the top of the tube. Release the clutch and the stick pushes the tub shut again so it can re-fill. Thumbs Up

Would add at least 42bhp to a RS50, giving it a top speed of well over 150mph, and also the 2T exhaust fumes, that had just left thee tube, would exit from the sides of your seat, giving you a built in smoke machine to make your neons look even better! Cool
