hi, will insurance be noticibly higher on a goose 350 rather then a Cagiva Planet 125 yet the goose only kicks out 3 more bhp than the planet? I did want a 600 hornet but people say that the insurance for a 17 year old would be sky high-any comments?
cheers
rob

What about getting something lower insurance and getting a years No claims on something like say...

...A kawasaki ER-5 and just by pure chance I am selling one (link in signature)

It cost me £252 tpft at 19 with 1 years No claims to insure through motorcycle direct.

Complete with 33hp restriction kit (which you can remove for extra ooomph)

Hi, I ride a Bros400 which is a similar kind of bike to the Goose, and also puts out 33bhp.

It cost me £60 to change my insurance over to the Bros from a cg125 with 6months remaining on the policy. That was TPO though.

I paid £676 for my '91 ZXR400, with a race-can and modified paint job, plus I made a theft claim in January.

That's at 22 with 0 NCB and in a fairly dodgy area.

I went with www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk

a goose 350 makes a true 33bhp

a cagiva planet does not make anything near that

a goose 350 or a honda bross 400 will serve you better over your 2 years restricted limit of 33bhp if you intend to stay legal

end of.

Insurance prices on 400s are artificially high because about a million 17/18 year olds have them.

For me, a 600 was much cheaper.
