Paintball, 20th August.....

I haven't checked up to see if the date is available yet, but reckon it should be ok. Want to make sure people are still interested - everyone that did it last time mentioned they would do it again this year if they could.

Last time we went they said that if we got twenty or more people together, we could have games on our own, so not have to worry about cheating kids etc (apart from Laura, maybe ). Also games on our own would be an ideal time to settle some of those long held grudges .

Location is near Reading and it will be £55 for the day.
That includes 1100 paintballs + an extra 100 if fully paid more than seven days in advance. You also get drinks through out the day and a meal at lunch time included in the price. Use of all the gear is included in the price, including overalls and headgear. There's a discount for students (only £3 though).

Extra paintballs can be bought in bags off 500 for £20 - other places are 50% more expensive as they only sell 100 at a time for £6.

So, who's interested?

If anyone needs somewhere to sleep the night before/after, that can be accomodated.

Last time we were there, there were a couple of 'pro' kids who were on our team, who had their own gear (was still 10vs20 though ).

I expect you will have to buy the paintballs from them, though.

Whether /we/ will let you use your own gear is another matter .

Had someone badgering me about paintballing in Docklands on Tuesday - place near Brands Hatch. I asked him for a leaflet/vouchers but he wanted me to make a booking there and then so said no.

i'll be up for it, but will need somewhere to stay overnight. due to long travel.

most places let people use there own gear. but not paint. (due to that's where money is made from) ... (and also, you can freeze paint so it hurts more)...
