Well,

I have done a terrible thing and bought a Yamaha XJR 1300.

This means that my much loved 1991 zr750 Zephyr has to find a new owner to give her all the fun that she deserves.

She is in good condition I feel, in Candy Atlantic Blue (the fastest colour), she has just had an MOT done (May) but her tax runs out end of August. I can't re-tax her 'cos she won't be insured after midnight tonight and it's too early to apply.

She had new Bridgestone 020's about 4000 miles ago, they are filled with Ultraseal, but they don't have chicken strips!

The exhaust is stock and sound, small scratch to chrome on right hand tail pipe, body work is nice.
There is a small (<1cm) ding in the tail piece which is not too noticeable, especially with the chrome lugguage rack on board.

She had a new gasket last July, so there are no pesky oil leaks to waterproof your left boot.

Carbs were balanced and cleaned in May, and have made a real difference in her ride.

She has covered a total of nearly 30,000 miles.
10,000 of those have been done in the 14 months that I have owned her. I just love riding this machine!

There are extras to go with her too!

Lots of History, including, old MOTs, Tax discs, receipts for parts (oil/air filters, fork seals, tyres, services etc), the original workshop manual, Haynes manual, and the piece de resistance...........

My treasured Baglux seat............. (costs £250 when new, using original seat. I have the original seat too, so the bike comes with TWO seats - WOW!)

Now, money time...

I would like to see £1100, but I can be flexible.
If a lower price was agreed I would have to just let the bike go and sell the manuals and seat separately.

I would like to see her go to someone who will love her. Located near Portsmouth, Hants.

Many thanks,

Vikki P

PS Pics are available.
