Taken my restrictors out and OMFG what a difference.

Smoked 3 cars including a nice white chavmobile.

3 figure speeds appear way to quick so i will be careful. Wink

Anyone who is restricted take them out. Twisted Evil

Two months to go before I lose my restriction, and never yet been restricted. Too expensive to get them restricted. Wink

I can think of good reasons to argue the fact that they can be of more risk if left on the bike!

Who are these saftety nazis of which you speak? Confused Can't think of many occasions where someone has been slated for saying they removed restrictors whilst still under a period of restricted license...

80% of the posts about mopeds on this forum are to do with fitting big-bores etc, yet how often do people get told not to because it's illegal? Yeh they're often told to save their money and spend it on a bigger bike, but that's different to saying that they shouldn't play with their mopeds because it's illegal.

Are these saftey nazis anything to do with the infamous clique by any chance? Laughing

cool, just that I nearly got taken out by chav-mobiles assuming that my 600 would accelerate like a 600, where as it was pig slow.
Scared the hell outta me the first time but I found myself in the same situation too many times.

Like at a set of lights they would be behind me revving like fook ready to give me a run for my money, but they have no idea. Made me feel very nervous.

Pull over and wave them past maybe? Just an easy way to show them you arent interested and if you can see what therye doing they wont be able to go into the back of you. If your bothered that your getting "beaten" by a Nova then reconsider why youre riding.

Can't exactly pull over in most cases as you describe, plus waving at them would only provoke them to do something extra stupid. Anyhoo I feel great now and have confidence when I ride knowing that I can avoid such situations. (600cc slower then a 125cc is something that people don't come across often)

hard to explain but its not a nice thing.

and no its nothing to do with getting beaten by Nova's etc, thats not me.

Another thing i couldn't believe was how fucking smooth the power was. It wasn't jerky at all and i thought very controlable.

Well done Mr Kawasaki. Thumbs Up

Have to agree with that. Stepped up from an RS125 to full power SV just a few weeks ago and my initial thoughts were just 'man this is so much easier to ride than the RS'. As a first bike, weight aside the SV is far simpler. And then when you do open the throttle it's far quicker. Twisted Evil Thumbs Up

i did the usual, and left the restrictors on the counter at the shop, silly me

but i did recently get me nc dyno'd and the power is so much smoother after getting a new air filter and getting it jetted properly
