Loose Bars

The only thing Ive had to do to the old girl thus far is change the radiator just last week. Went well and cheers for the advice.

That's what I need again though. Whilst pretty much being able to pull anything apart and put it back together again with at least a few extra screws left over, I obviously am less inclined to test my mechanical aptitude on the bike for safety reasons.

My left side handle has become loose. Now not sure if its a recent thing or Ive just noticed but now that I know its there , it's bothering me.
Anyway from pic 1 below you can see the circle is where there is movement. This means I can have my hand on the grip and move it in all directions not a huge amount but enough. (no not just the rubber grip )

My question is can this be tightened . Im guessing yes but from pic 2 the other side of the bar is well flat and there appears to be no way to do it.
Am I missing something or is this part of a greater section that need replacing when at this point .

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

picture 2 is a rubber... take it off.. big allen bolt.. tighten to a whooping 23Nm...

DOH!! Im a lumbering great git. Yep its a little farkin plastic plug and I got the key to fit in the kit. phew that is a releif though.
Now not owning a torque rench , you reckon tight as fuck will do Very Happy

i've been beating that bolt for about 10 minutes with a impact driver... not coming undone

Well maybe yours and mine could have a quick chat . Mine was well keen just to jump off on it's damn own.
