TBH from what experience my mate has had with his Suzuki SV650S K4, I would say for the SV... He really has had a lot of problems with it and another SV owner I spoke to says that he was not satisfied either. I don't think 70bhp is enough for the weight and handling of the bike, thats why it may feel a bit dodgey when trying to lean into a corner to much.
If those are the two choices to be made, I'd definately say the Bandit, as you've already had one you know how the bike works and handles, just has a lot of more power for a 1200 obviously. The new Bandit 'S' range looks quite good aswell...

i'd say leave the bandit as you've had one and could get bored quick. what about the gsx1400? are you staying away from the sport bikes? ____________________ CBR400RR the funs started - Honda MTX 125 ongoing project when i can be arsed |

Test ride a few first. If you've never been on a big sports bike give one a go. The performance is addictive. People talk about their lack of low down grunt but that's only relative to what's at their top end not other bikes. A liter plus sports bike might have all the power above 8000 revs but it still has more than a Bandit at 5000. ____________________ https://hyperbikes.forumsplace.com/ |
