Ive just passed my theory and now debating whether to book lessons before the practical test.
My mate, who passed a while back, reckons Im ready for it, but hes no instructor.
Any ideas what to do? What do the instructors show you in the lessons?

My lessons were very useful. I had a 2 day intensive course (9-4), and we were riding around for about 6 hours. He shows you how to do everything properly eg, u-turn and e stops and what to do in certain situations.

Maybe if you booked a 2-4 hour training lesson that would help you and build your confidence for the test Smile

I agree.

The worst ride you'll ever have will be on the test day-due to nerves. I found that the pre-test sessions i had helped me no end! Smile

The lady I spoke to at the riding school I will be training with said they would get a complete novice through their DAC with about 8 hours of lessons (obviously after you've taken your CBT).
