The kid scene sounds pretty common. The guy with lager can Confused. You don't have a loud can and go past his house every night or something?

Don't take this the wrong way but maybe this happens because of the type of bike you're on (not that it's your fault!). They see an RS125, assume you're youngish and that they can get away with it. I never hear of this sort of thing happen to someone riding a Blade (for example). It's still shit though Sad

Not to mention the tool in a porsche who, on an open road, was so close to him he was virtually illegal as he wasn't wearing a helmet!!!!

Maybe its just me but I try to run them over. Always pick out one if it's a big group of kids. I do it on my pushbike too, duck down and hold on tight and im not going to get knocked off. Will certainly take them down. Go down the next turning quickly or cover your plate. Havent succeded yet but have come close to one guy who jumped onto the kerb quick.

And im fecking tiny so if im stupid enough to do it then you all should do it. It's fun. Very Happy

A lot of the kids you meet on the bike are what I call "Heymisters" who are harmless enough (although they do like to touch, I usually ask them if they would like me to go round their house and fiddle with their pushbike without their permission).

You just get a never-ending series of questions from them

"Heymister, how fast is that bike?"
"Heymister, my dad has a fireblade."
"Heymister, can you do a wheelie?"
"Heymister, how much did that cost."
"Heymister, is your bike broken? Why are you taking that bit off?"

I usually try to humour them in the hope that they don't turn into the sort that throw stuff at you. They also seem to know everything that is going on locally. When my CB125 got pinched it was a couple of the 'heymisters' that told me which of the local scumbags had taken it and allowed me to prod the police in the right direction.

I get that, although being Welsh I get 'orite but? is tha fast en?' etc etc. I tend to humour them, and most of them are harmless enough. There are a couple of kids in my street that really get on my nerves though, 2 of them from the same family. Irritating thick kids that keep asking stupid questions. I blame the parents. Rolling Eyes

Some old fart did this to me a few weeks back. Not with a beer can, but with a clump of soil/grass from his garden. I was just braking to enter the 30 zone and in my peripheral vision i saw him aim and throw something, i ducked and it bounced off my screen. i spun bike around, pulled up outside his place, and after a long slanging match i just head butted the fucker (still wearing my arai of course), he screamed in pain, i laughed at the blood.

Then i rode off... that'll teach the twat to throw stuff at bikers.

I got a bunch of "heymister" kids asking me about my bike at the local chinese takeaway the other week. I was putting the food in my tankbag, and the first question they asked was if I was the deliveryman for the chinese! I'm stood there in full leathers about to get on a sports600 - do I look like a bloody chinese food delivery man?! Confused Then they started the old "how fast will your bike go?", "what's the fastest you've had out of it", "how much did it cost?". They made me laugh though, so I just humoured them. Not yet had any violent acts though. Had a few "pull a wheelie" gestures.

a lot of kids are cheeky without meaning any harm. they are curious and appreciate it if you give them a bit of attention and tell them about your bike.

if they step out of line it might be worth having a go at them but probably not worth a great deal of effort

I get that a fair bit in estates and stuff. For the top speed question I usually tell them I was doing 173mph up the main drive of the estate. Usually though they will be helpful if you are alright to them. I've had a few try and help me out when my bike broke down one time, they were kicking the kickstart so I could check for spark. Laughing

ASBO material if ever I heard it. You should have gone to the council and applied to have him banned from going in his garden or looking at motorbikes.

I get the odd cocky kid riding out in front of me playing chicken on his pushbike.

The trick is to not slow down. Last time the kid jumped off and i ran his pushbike over.
