Just a quick question when I come to tightening my chain for the first time what do I do?
This might seem like a simple and easy question but I have never had to do it before. Also my bike is a zxr400 so will I need a centre stand so the back wheel is off the floor.

It's pretty important to get the back wheel off the ground so you can find the 'tight-spot' in the chain. Basically keep turning the wheel while moving the chain up and down until you find the point where it moves the least. Then tighten the adjusters (both sides evenly) until you have about an inch/inch and half of movement. (2.4 centimetres ). Oh yeah make sure you slacken off the wheel first, the big nut attached to the wheel spindle. ____________________ Current bike: VTR1000F Firestorm.
