Since the big end went 7 months ago the bike hasn't moved.

Money has been spent out on:

Arrow Piston
Arrow Bearings
Arrow Gaskets
Arrow Crank
Arrow Plating
Arrow Tyre
Arrow Seals
Arrow Seat

And it still hasn't moved. Just worked out today that the lack of activity and final ride in the salty winter has screwed my chain. Only a few 1000's Km's as well.

Arrow New C&S

Why am i telling you this? It's Sun Sunny Sun and hot, I've goy a garage full of 'bits' that fit together to make a fun little toy, yet the lack of a few vital things (crank&cylinder) are preventing me having fun.

Not happy at all, then there's the MOT to sort out. Rolling Eyes

Enjoy your bike, it's a pisser when you can't use it.

No "it's an italian two stroke, what do you expect comments?"!

The joy of a road tuned middleweight 4 stroke.

They tend to work, and stuff.

Why's it taking so long to sort? Razz

I've been off the road 2 days now, trying to get the restrictor out of my exhaust with minimal tools. Hopefully tomorrow I can put some time in to finishing to job.

Mine got taken out last Thursday. I missed riding so much, by Saturday I bought another bike! Cheap old divvy, but who cares it's got two wheels and it goes!

Why not get yourself something cheap to run around until the main bike is sorted?

I don't know why things take so long to fix...

My rear wheel bearings were shagged, as were picked up by the scrute on the first morning of the track day (they were fine when I left home, 2 up with luggage, guess they were on the way out and that killed them).. I went into Louth and bought new bearings and had them reaplced in time for the afternoon session.

My last bike had a snapped conrod.. dropped the engine out and reaplced it in a couple of weekends.

Unless of course it's a case of money meaning you can't afford the bits you need, in which case, you have my sympathy..

It's all go now. A call from stanstephens today to confirm that the cyclinder is on the way, ordered some C&S's from CMP, odd bits from M&P.

Just need to sort insurance. It *should* be under £100 now. A couple of evenings and it'll be all together. MOT sat, bike for sat afternoon.

It's taking ages as i've been a student for most the time, so i break things and put them away in the garage until i'm back home. It could of been put together in under 3 weeks if i HAD to.

Money isn't a problem. Just landed a full time job today. Was only moaning because it's all money out and no sign of the bike running getting any closer.

Roll on the summer good times. Roll on the next Iatlian breakdown!

Thumbs Up
