1999 Triumph Daytona 955i

Hi,
I have decided it has come to a point where I want to sell my baby and get a bike more suited to someone of my stature.

I will be sad to see her go and I have had a lot of good times with her.

Here are the details:

1999 V
Black
Odo reads 9978 miles, although the clocks were replaced under warranty at 3602 miles so the total mileage is 13580 miles hence its recent 12,000 mile service (which includes valve clearances)
Front and rear suspension resprung and revalved by Race Components in Reading. Now there is a greater range of suspension adjustment and the ride quality and handling are ace.
No FSH but I have service history for all the time that I have owned her (since April 2003). She has been serviced regularly by a local dealer whom I trust implicitly.
Eleven Months MOT
Six months tax
Wolf Hi level oval exhaust and remapped fuel injection to suit
Datatool Veto Evo alarm with two Triumph branded fobs
Scottoiler
Pyramid Plastics Hugger
2000 model gear shifter mod (makes the gearbox a lot sweeter)

The bike currently has a pair of Pirelli Diablo Corsas on, which have another few thousand miles left. These have obviously been used on the track however, and for the right money I might be persuaded to swop them for a brand new set of Bridgestone BT010's that I have in my garage.

I will also throw in
a spare lhs fairing panel ( I bought as a sort of spare but it needs refinishing)
a spare seat that I cut down because I'm a shortarse
46mm Triumph socket that you will need to remove the rear wheel
Original can plus footrest hangers and quiet baffle for the race can

This bike does not come with a pillion seat and has a single seat hump in place. It has loads of storage under here though.
I have seen pillion seats for this bike on ebay for about £20 too.

The 955cc injected triple is grunty and quick. The bike has been slightly downgeared so you lose about 10mph of top end on the track (top speed is now about 150mph) but it feels great to ride and is very quick on all sorts of roads.

Its probably worth mentioning that this bike has been my pride and joy for a long while now and has been well looked after.

Insurance for me last year (24 year old male, garaged, four years NCB) was £230 TPFT I guess because they aren't as desirable as your R1s etc, however I bet it would give one a run for its money!

And finally price:
£3600 ono.
