So many bikers going around not doing up their helmet straps at the moment. Thumbs Down
I'm assuming it's down to the heat but technically they're riding without a helmet and it's bloody dangerous.
I refuse to believe that all of them have forgotten, as I don't normally notice that many.

I'd hate to think that anyone from here has been leaving it undone on purpose but you never know!

Anyone else notice this or have any comments?

Well, people can easily forget to do the straps, I think soon into the ride they'll feel it swinging about and do them up.

This also reminds me the first time I bought my helmet, rode back with it, came home, tried to undo the strap, but it wouldnt come off! it was one of those old car seat belt styles where you press a red button into the buckle and it unlocks but this was stuck, i just kept trying and trying to unbuckle it, i tried for at least 20 minutes, and i was getting increasingly frustrated and annoyed and very close to a panic attack, it was just fucking stuck, was just getting a knife to cut the strap when gf comes home and with a swift movement unbuckles it, felt really silly Laughing Laughing

Around my local area it seems mainly the 'yoofs' who ride with it unbuckled, or often with it perched on the top of their head!!
I'm guessing it's a teenage rebellion thing.
Best one i've seen is a lad on a ped with his lid on the top of his head talking on his mobile! He was riding one handed whilst he talked. He turned into a side street, and couldn't see that just around the corner there had been a car crash and 3 police cars were in attendance. He shat his pants, dropped his phone, pulled his lid down, and almost dropped his scooter trying to pick his phone up off the floor!
Gave me a good chuckle at least.
Very Happy
