I've just had me Firestorm painted.

I think it look rather evil in its new livery! Very Happy

The next plan is to get the wheels done.
I think the would look good if they were chromed!

Any advice?[/i]

Yes !!

It is an absolute bugger to keep clean!
You can't polish it or it will start to gloss!
Gently remove marks with a soft damp cloth.

But its worth it! Twisted Evil

Cool, looks smart, although I'd be far too tempted to polish it, (sorry, bad habbit of mine) lol.

Originally it was not going to have laquer,
but that proved to be a problem when getting the silver stirpes to blend on top of the satin black .

So we used a base black (not satin), then masked and did the stripes.
Then for the satin effect, we used a matt laquer (apparently the one Mercedes use for their bumpers and other matt bits to finish it.)

Worked nice in the end!! (Cheers Ian!!)

Stunning. Hard decision on the wheels though. Cost much to do?

Looks good Thumbs Up
Don't chrome the wheels - they will look crappy very quickly.
A friend of mine had them professionally polished up on his Fazer and they looked really good and where easy to keep nice as they don't chip like chrome does Cool

I would keep the wheels shiny (bit of polishing).

However.....tbh....if it were me.....I would have the frame and the wheels black.......just for the overall effect...... Very Happy

Nice job though...... Thumbs Up
