What are the best bits of new kit you've bought this year?
For me it's been a year of revelations starting with my first set of new tyres I got to scrub in (last time I had new tyres fitted the bike got stolen before I had ridden 100 miles). My bike felt like a different machine, suddenly it felt stable in corners and turned into them without as much brute force as I was used to applying.
Followed by contact lenses - what a joy to be able to see where I'm going!
Finally, a mini sun visor type thing. It's like the bike equivalent of the blue strip across the top of your windscreen - not big enough to notice but sufficient to prevent being blinded by late evening summer sunshine. I'm looking forward to autumn ____________________ Avast! Pirates ahoy!

Tank Bag. Works well on both bikes and when ducking down gives you something to rest on. ____________________ When riding fast, think fast. When riding slow.. speed up.

I think that the best thing that my husband (The Grim Reaper) has bought this year has to be his blade.. He swapped his blackbird in for it, and I have to say he looks much more at home on the blade, mot to mention sexier - plus I can ride it too - which is a bonus - the blackbird was too heavy for me.
My best purchase has to be my mx5 - not quite my TL that I had to get rid of, (due to a bun in the oven) but the closest thing in my price range to being able to feel the wind in my hair!
Missing the TL something rotten... may have to look into getting another one!!

AlpineStars GP gloves. Mmmmmm, comfy.....
A variety of tools, and I finally found a double-bubble screen for my old, old bike ____________________ - Yeah, you know the type, loud as a motorbike, wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight.

My Halfords professional tools, now i couldn't get by without them.
Then my Furia 50 and Dragster 125 which i bought and sold, made a tidy £500 profit.
Finally my Richa gloves, they were £30 from bike shop above DK uber comfortable and look great. |

My Suomi Lid i suppose...
Been sitting here for a while now and thats the best i can come up with atm apart from maybe the 4.99 itercom kit i got from Lidl, that was pretty good for the price, shame i lost one of the microphone / headset thingy's, rendering it useless now though
Ask again after my b'day on friday and i may have something a bit more exciting to share with you all who knows. ____________________ CBT Aug '03 ... Gilera GSM 50 ... Honda NSR 125 Aug '04 ...
