Nice bit of damage. Conrod sheared off the crankshaft punching a 4" hole in the casing Damage was done due to oil starvation. Kinda given away by the overheating scars on the rod ____________________ Current; 10' Aprilia Dorsoduro 750.

Expensive novelty doorknob for the garage then.
If you are going to do a job, do it properly
At least when your engine goes bang like that like that, it is easy to decide what to do, no spending ages trying to decide if you can be bothered fixing it.
Did this happen when the bike was being ridden? Did it lock-up? Get away without coming off? ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

Yeah it was his bike greg
He was doing about 70mph on the motorway when it let go. fortunately it never locked up, just spewed oil over the rear wheel. God know how he stayed on cause he had a pillion on the back at the time ____________________ Current; 10' Aprilia Dorsoduro 750.
