Tried the RAC Route Planner?
If you select 'No Motorways' option, it gives you:
Total distance: 221.7 miles (356.7 km )
Total estimated time: 5 hours and 56 min
Bit of a trek, but do-able.

Very useful, will print you maps and all sorts. If nothing else, it'll give you an idea of what route you want to take. ____________________ >Soultrader Mister James, I bet you are a copper

can do the same with auto route if you have it, set the "prefered roads" and set motorways to lowest seting...
It can be done, hard work though.. take as many brakes as you need and a big load of water...
Suggest you go at about 3/4/5 am, this will give you clear roads, it gets light soon after, you'll be there without any hassle before anyones woken up..
This way you wont have traffic up your ass the whole way, the real problem is other vehicles on the road (when your real top speed is 50mph its a bit of a git)... ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |
