Why no more??

When I first joined BCF there was new vids/pics, stunting, knee down etc every week, sometimes more than 1, for years there was loads of pics and vids always being posted and now theres............... hardly anything at all.

No more big video like the last one either.

Not a dig, just curious as to why people don't post pics/vids any more like they used to.

I'd post pics but haven't a working bike until next week Very Happy then I'll post some pics/vids again and hope others do too... liven this section up a bit..

Laughing Hmmm... I can see that ending in tears!!!

Problem with the cam is that the start/stop recording button is on the top, and therefore the gaffa tape would cover it.

I might go and give this a try this afternoon though.... Exclamation

or when you can see the metal canvas on your DT50 tyre, jus wrap some ducttape around the length of your tyre

If I had a decent Digicam thingy I would get some pics and vids up, looking into those bullet cam things..... they look like the best option IMO.

I do try and post as many pictures as I think you guys wanna see.

I take thousands, but I'm sure you don't wanna see them all !

I do agree though that especially with just about everyone having a digi camera nowadays, it's cool to see even some rideout pic.

here's some from my ride to Brighton on Sunday just to cheer you up:

I think there have been a reasonable number this year, but they drop pretty quickly due to all the re-posts of stuff found on the web three years ago.

It used to be a novelty, it was 'wow, look what we've been out doing' but that novelty wears off... we've all seen G getting his knee down round Theale, do you really want to see it again? (Maybe folk do, I dunno).

As for 'the big video', there was complete apathy last time when I asked other people to send me their tapes (which is why it ended up being 'Reading Clique' only) so I'm fairly unfussed about doing it again. Maybe in the winter when I'm deeply bored...

Maybe the 'Best Of' actually needs maintaining. Wink I do think a nice page of BCF-only vids would be kinda cool.

I got a bit bored of it when no good vids were posted.

The only interesting vid posted lately was the Streetfighter Sunday ones.

That's the problem, it's all down to personal preference.

I think tankcams are the most tedious thing on earth... people nark at me for speeding them up cos they want to watch them in real-time!

I thought my 'onboard with G at Lydden' would have been worthy of a link though!

Maybe that's where you are 100% right.

It comes down to personal preference really and I haven't added links that aren't of interest to me .. I only add vids that I thought were cool or vids that people asked me to post.

So really unless every single video is posted in that thread it's not worth it.. need a completely un-biased person to post up every vid? But then who decides what's good and what's not... etc..

I like timelapse vids if they got some good scenery and maybe a nice track in the background.

Gonna try one myself of the a2 from larne up the coast to carnlough at least maybe more, this is probaly the best biker road in northern ireland (and due to the number of biker deaths one of the most dangerous) the scenery is gorgeous and your so close to the sea it can be a bit freaky in places.

Just need to get the the hang of editing and all that.
