So it's the same old story................
Riding to work this morning and some dozy car driver decides that she wants to wipe me out.
I am in the left hand lane pulling away from the lights and low and behold she does not see me and pulls into me just about avoiding me, so I let her pull in so that I can stay upright, then when you pull up along side and yell like hell at her pointing at her wing mirrors she tries telling me that I was at fault...
So I would like to say thanks to the biker behind me for giving her mirror a good belt as he went passed.

Its not necessarily the mirrors that she didn't use, she didn't giv a look over her shoulder (a la lifesaver) to check blind spot you were in, stupid bint!
I suppose without the mirror she might learn to start glancing over her shoulder. ____________________ Colin McRae MBE 1968 - 2007 RIP

She may of looked in the mirror, probably has it adjusted so she can check her make up . ____________________ Current bikes: 1960 Triumph 5ta x2, TTR600RE, KTM200EXC, Cagiva Elephant 900ie. |

Driving to work last week and it was a little dark so I had my headlights on. I'm driving down a 2 lane A road, I'm in lane 2 approaching an Astra in lane 1.
As I get about 5 meters away from her she suddenly realises that there's standing traffic in her lane and swerves (and I do mean swerve. No signal, no look. Nothing.) into my lane.
I slam on bit of a skid moment (and I don't mean the car ) and pull up behind her.
Why's she driving like Stevie Wonder? She's applying her effing makup.
If I'd have been on a bike and going 5 mph faster I'd have had the choice of the back of her car or the drystone central reservation. No doubts about it. If she didn't see a red car with headlights on there's no way she would have seen a bike. |
