what does "i only am getting 90kpm" mean? Its obviously going to use more than a moped. Just fill it up, clock the mileage and work out what it is doing to the gallon.

I get about 145 miles to reserve on a tank that holds £13 of fuel and thats a litre bike.

i get about 60miles untill reserve then ussualy it only takes £5 to fill up again.
it seems my bike either has a massive reserve tank or very poor mpg.

Filling your ZXR4 tank without reserve will cost around £10. This will cover 120 miles (ish) depending how you ride.

My GSX600F is the same, but I know my bike is running stupidly rich!

I get about 120 miles to about 15 litres, if that sometimes.
I have been known to use 15 litres in 83 miles!

i'm on a zxr400 aswell.
i don't think there's a problem with my bike, it runs well.
what i dont get is why the tank will only take a fiver when i fill up just as the bikes hit reserve.

I get 40ish to the gallon out of my 1100. All my 750+ sporty machines have done about that.

My old gt550 got 60 or so to the gallon.

My 125 got 120 or so to the gallon.
