i had this kind of things on mine . it is the slow jet which is too small . the normal starting sequence is : choke on , no throttle . it runs 2500-3000 revs then after 1-2 mn the engine seems to stuff , put a bit of throttle and off the choke . several acceleration and it goes ok . i assume you have a french import with jets as :
- main 132
- slow 38
- power 55
if you are not de-restricted fit 135,42,60 and if you are de-restricted fit 138,42,65 . change your plug by a BR9EIX . at this time of the year you will get a lightning start without choke .
your idle must be adjust (engine hot) at 1400 +-100 rpm
PS when starting on choke never use your throttle !

the manual (english)
- https://www.geneva-racing.com/~alains/NSRmanualDOC.zip (whole) 64,3 Mo
- https://www.geneva-racing.com/~alains/NSRmanualdoc1.zip ( chapters 1-5) 17,6 Mo
- https://www.geneva-racing.com/~alains/NSRmanualdoc2.zip (chapters 6-10) 17,1 Mo
- https://www.geneva-racing.com/~alains/NSRmanualdoc3.zip (chapters 11-14) 18,4 Mo
- https://www.geneva-racing.com/~alains/NSRmanualdoc4.zip (chapters 15-21) 11,5 Mo
electric wiring

what you can do , if you are not a mechanic beginer is to take off your carb and look at your jets . by the same time you will clean air box filter , tank tap , fuel strainer and all jets in the carb . report to the workshop manual to do everything

i will just give infos to take off carb
1) put tank on its stand , close tap , disconnect fuel pipe , undo the central bolt (10 spanner i think) and mind the rubbers and washers
take out the tank
2) air filter . take off the 2 bolts (10 also) , disconnect the plastic pipe underneath the front box , untigh the collar which join air box and carb (underneath the back) . take out the air box
3) undo the screw on top of the choke and pull it out . undo the 2 screws on top of the throttle and pull it out . pull out the 2 small platic pipe on top of the carb . undo the fuel pipe . undo the rubber pipe (oil feed) and lift it and try to lock it as high as possible (avoiding oil leak) . untigh the collar beetween intake pipe and carb . now carb is yours
refer to the manual to dismantle the carb and good DIY !
