I'd just like to apologise to the Welsh riders who might have been a bit shaken up when I passed them whilst I was out playing 3 weekends ago. If you were one of many that day, out on a cruise & were passed by a black Busa with 2 silver stripes on it, that was me & I'm sorry if I shook you up, but your roads are such fun I couldn't go slow. That & the fact that the only coppers I saw were in toytown cars so they didn't matter.
To the fella on the Aprillia Mille on the A40 heading towards Swansea, it was fun, shame the Prillia ain't a bit quicker tho eh Laughing

Im new to biking so I rarely go over 80mph. I get rattled when a motorbike buzzess past close at much higher speeds.

I think fast riders should show a bit of courtesy and only go past at 20mph over the speed of whoverer they are passing. They should also give a bit of space when passing. If i could touch them if i extended my arm, they are too close.

I have been overtaken at speeds which must have been more than 40mph higher than my speed and it does shit me up.

Im not so bad now but at first i was in danger of panicing and I could have swerved into his path.

I dont think fast riders realise this could happen.

No need to apologise, as most of the riders you passed were probably English, judging by the accents I heard at the Llandovery cafe the weekend before last. Wink A lot of English power rangers come to play at weekends for the same reasons you do, i.e. good roads - sometimes they're slow, especially on the corners, and then going like f**k on the straights, and sometimes they are genuinely fast, and sometimes they crash. It's the same mixture of skills wherever you go and it can't be categorised by nationality.

BTW, the police here do have fast unmarked patrol cars and bikes, helicopters etc.

All they ever seem to use the helicopters for in the valleys, is finding senile old ladies who have escaped the nursing home, and pissing me off when I'm camping by shining their searchlight on everyone! Then a couple of patrol cars usually turn up wanting to know if we we're an illegal rave! Rave obsessed they are, coppers round my way.....

12 people and 3 tents is surely the crappiest rave of all time...
