Looks pretty good. Don't look too bad in black but needs some stickers of some sort.
I'm going to have a look at a NSR on tuesday night, hopefully get that to run me about on for a while.
Anyway, not at all bad for a grand that Andy. Look after it. Smile

Laughing @ Shaun...

I've been looking into getting a new paintjob (or standard RWB panels), but i'm waiting until i end up accidentally crunching those first (I put me foot through our fence trying to stop myself from dropping it Laughing ). Ah well, Insurance is valid from 00:01 on Sunday, and the battery's being charged as we speak.

All day on the road tomorrow, hope the weathers okay, it's been goodish so far Thumbs Up .

There only cosmetics really, so i wouldnt worry about them all that much.
Could always get them resprayed and then get stickers / decals to make up the other colours...

But i really wouldnt worry about it all that much.

I'm sure once your riding it, that becomes the last thing in your mind is the colour...

Is it me or can I spot things missing on that bike.
One thing being the 'air intake' tube which goes in just underneat the tank and the other being no rear footpeg.
I know it don't make much difference, just noticed it really. Would be nice to make it complete though. Ebay will be your friend. Wink

The air intake tubes will be replaced in due time, as will the panels. The pillion footpegs, well, It came without one, so I took the other off. The only reason I don't replace the tubes now is for some reason there are wires running into those bits Confused , and I need new tyres first too.

That's normal, there'll be a gap/narrowing in the black pipe where you can slide it in alongside the wires. Just make sure you take the fairing off before attaching it, cuz it's a bit of a b@stard if you don't, and you have to screw it to the fairing anyway. Smile

I'll give you a tip for your rusty exhaust expansion pipe etc. Take your exhaust off the bike (details how to do this on www.nsr125.com ) and brush off as much rust as you can with a wire brush. Then mask off the can itself so you don't paint that. Get a can of bbq paint etc from Homebase or B&Q and spray the rusty pipes. Makes the bike look ten times better Very Happy

A few of the panels look like a greyish black - this is where the paint they have used has been of a different type (maybe cellulose) and therefore reflects/absorbs light differently to the gelcoat. Take these panels to a local car repair place (find a good backstreet one) and it should cost about £100-£150 to get them resprayed JET black in Two Pack paint.

Then goto https://www.morgandesigns.com/EU/eu_rep_honda4.htm and get a WEST replica Sticker kit for £42 - easy to apply and looks great - I did it on my wife's NSR before I sold it on here.
