Just sat here thinking how did I get here.
I know I came on the bike as it's sat outside but can't remember anything about the journey this morning.

I can only think it's one of:

I was on auto pilot so rode beautifully the whole way

I'm so stressed my short term memory is fried

There's some alternate reality thing going on.

I know riders often remember a great ride, and proceed to tell everyone about it. As this is the opposite has anyone else got any stories of ending up somewhere and not recalling how you got there?

might be that noone has cut you up or pulled out infront of you on your way to where ever you are. I always rember most trips to work as someone does something so stupid you can't forget it.

If you listen to the advanced lot, the journeys you can't remember are normally the worst as you are just drifting along, not alert or anticipating danger. I only ride like that if I've got a lot on my mind.

i get that sometimes ... but a few days after then i think "well im here and my bike is at home, so i must have rode home from there those 3 nights ago"

I often have the same "I don't remember anything about the journey" moments. Often on the way home I can't remember the last few minutes.
Just so used to the roads and as said above if there's no dangers I have to worry about then what's there to remember?

Its the magic bike pixie she helps me to work every morning.
she rides the bike while i sleep some more and i dont remember anything. Mr. Green
