clutch? (help)

went out earlier practicing rolling burnouts and getting better Very Happy

. when i went back on to the main road it was ok going slow but when i accelerated hard it just revved as if it was in neutral, and when setting off it was like i was releasing the clutch way to slow even tho it was fully out. is this clutch slipping? and what will i need to get plates and springs? (never messed with a clutch before) oh yeah ive got a cbr400 nc29.

is there any free play in the lever or is it hard against the stop

it does sound like new clutch plates are in order

not the spring though

Common mistake when doing burnouts is to hold the clutch part in
this will burn out your clutch in seconds , if your going to do them dump that clutch and keep your fingers off the lever ,its just the front brake you need to be carefull with whilst holding the bike back
on it.

try adjusting it at the engine end before you give up completely
