Seeing as how a few people liked the "Dust to Glory" thread, here is a short clip from the feature film documentary "Faster" - all about MotoGP. It's a few years old, taking in the last ever two-stroke only season as well as the first year of the four-strokes, but if you missed it the first time round it's definitely worth a watch.

Still amazed by finally seeing Doohan in action on the DVD - his slight Assen off, his comment after his career-ending crash in Jerez ("......just a couple of odds and ends" Surprised ) and his front end darkies near the end of the film Shocked .

The 2nd disc is just as good - especially the promotional bit where they're riding MotoGP bikes down the street!

Never seen that before....ace Thumbs Up

Couple of points....(I may get shouted down on the first one!)

a) I miss the 500 2 strokes.....don't get me wrong the MotoGP now is class but those bikes were harder to ride fast and not as 'user friendly' as the four strokes today, which made great viewing.

b) How close was Doohan to saving the front end!

c) Seen Biaggi's wheely loads of times but just noticed how hard he stamps on the rear brake to bring it down.

If anybody has these DVDs and you happen to 'back them up' and accidently drop them in an envelope with my address on I wouldn't be unhappy!!! PM if you can help to sort out summin.
