Nice, nice, nice....Tell you what, I'll swap you my used and abused 98' hornet radiator for yours. Yours looks as if it works, unlike mine. Thumbs Up Wink

Enjoy it dude. (sorry, what is it again? Looks like the same engine as the hornets? Confused)

well, mr instigator...well spotted, you're right...it is a hornet engine.

its a Mar 2005 Honda cbf 600 abs (to give it its proper title)

bought it this morning with 60 (thats SIXTY) miles on the clock

yes......but it takes a bit of getting used to when you've only ever ridden a cg

well, ill just take my time....still haven't been over 5000 revs, wimp, i know

"The CBF600 ABS is powered by the same engine as the CB600 Hornet, but with increased torque at low to mid revs - just where the rider needs it more. Available in naked and half-faired versions, the CBF600 ABS is sure to suit everyone. And it is also available with optional ABS for that extra stopping confidence and control in all riding conditions. "

a wee quote from the honda website

Aaaaah, okay. Although I'm slightly puzzled why they have this and the hornet. Confused I'd probably prefer the power to be on tap on the hornet, rather than all top-end power. Sad As I hardly keep the hornet near the red line.

Still.....it's a quality engine isn't it. Shocked Very Happy

yeah man...i'm happy with it......but unlike a lot of other people on these forums, i am not used to a lot of power

so

so

i have nothing to compare it to..

but

coming home today from the shop, man, it was just what i wanted, power to overtake, and more besides, i am well chuffed

now..before you go to bed , check the air ducts for aliens..

they are a damn nuisance this time of night

ride safe...ride good...enjoy.........

Have they raised the ground clearance yet so you don't ruin your boots on roundabouts/junctions?

Apart from that I liked the one I had, wouldn't mind one with the upped power (abs) and a stiffer suspension.

Looks like a full time job keeping that beast clean dude! Congrats on passing the test and congrats on a fine purchase!

Thumbs Up Wink
