Not sure how much they make, but suspect a 50cc go ped with NOS could be got to around 20hp maybe?

The weight with that kid on board is maybe four times or more less than a 400cc bike with a normal rider on a board - and they could probably beat a transam like that at mid speeds at least.

Doesn't look real to me - sped up for sure. Plus, there's no way of telling if they're actually accelerating or just running staggered down the straight.

Could you imagine doing even 30mph on a go-ped? It'll be so unstable at faster speeds, plus how are those wheels (tyres?) meant to cope with forceful accleration? Or wheelies? Bad enought on an 'overweight' (relatively speaking) bike.

G, The video is ofcourse sped up but hypothetically... Would the little scooter thing be able to get 20bhp down without the tiny wheel spinning or up without the front lifting? 80cm wheelbase cant be good for drag racing!

The scooter has a wheely bar, so that shouldn't be a problem.

After that, you just need a grippy enough tyre.

You can adjust the clutches on such things so that they provide just the right amount of go without going over the top - so no skill is required initially, just turn the throttle to full at let the clutch do the rest of the work.
