started something lol.

decided to polish the rvf frame yesterday.....what a pain lol,ive managed about 6 inches at the moment..so obviously i now have to do the whole thing, but it was too much like hard work so ive ordered a polishing kit and will do the rest when it arrives...besides its too sunny to be sat polishing Wink .

got to say though it looks great polished...even if its only 6"s lol

Yep, many times.

Just washed mine this morning. Now looks worse than it did before I started - water streaks all over it - urgh! And it's too bloody hot and sunny at the moment to polish it, so I'm waiting for the sun to move over a bit to give me some shade to work in Cool

Better do it soon, though, cos I couldn't possibly take it out looking like it does at the moment Exclamation

Looks good, are you going to polish the whole frame and swing arm or just the two main spars?

Yes.

I wished a hadn't started to take the downpipes off to discover the studs are bent. Evil or Very Mad The clamps won't come off because of it.

Might just put the nuts back on and repair the holes while they're on it.

MOT is in 2 weeks time and that's why I was bothering. Arse. Evil or Very Mad

I THINK I preferred it when it wasn't polished!!!! Shocked

Just my opinion of course. I do know all the hard work gone into it though, polishing that much surface area would take an 'age'. Thumbs Up

cant polish them too much as id loose the harris logo..lol.

instigator i preferred it unpolished too,but the reason i have started doing it is so i can get rid of a few accident marks on the other side(handlebar hit the frame).

but polished is really growing on me...and i do like cleaning(weird i know)
