Swaffham Trackday 14/09/05

Well first track day and first time riding the KTM/a bike in 9 months, was a bit nervous but was looking forward to getting my KTM back.

First rides and I realised it was a FOOKING ANIMAL. This thing really flies now!! Mr. Green

Spent the morning getting used to it and then took some advice from a faster mate and started upping the tempo in the afternoon..

Scraped left peg and nearly right (on standard enduro suspension Very Happy

)

Only got the one pic at the moment, just got in (1 Am) and won't get more pics till tomorow now at earliest.

The pic may look odd but the way the track runs this is the quickest route through the section if you fancy hitting those curbs in 2nd anyway Very Happy

Nice one, looks like you had fun, the bike's looking gorgeous. So what kind of security do you have on the bike and what times are you generally out of the house?

I can't wait to get some decent tyres and do another track day.

So tempted to try racing now Surprised

but not sure I'm fast enough, only done 1 track day but someone said I would have been able to keep up with Novice group without too much problems..

few more track days and I might go for a race Twisted Evil

Half hearted enduro style foot-sticking out is one of my pet hates.

You need to be sliding forward on the seat, nut on tank crushing style, and have your foot as far forward as the front axle.

THAT looks awesome.

The smoto guys at lydden had sparks flying from metal heel sliders! Shocked
