Tips on selling my bike

Hi folks,

Im about to put my bike up for sale but I've never sold a bike before and I've got a few questions.

First off, what paperwork am I meant to have? Everything is legit but I'm just not sure what im looking at. What's the story with a "log book"? I have a V5C form for sure, but not sure what else I do or don't have.

Secondly, what's the procedure for legally transferring the bike once I do sell it? Do I just tear the bit off the V5C and send it off?

Lastly, any tips or advice on achieving a quick and easy sale? I'm planning to advertise in free or very cheap places, and put a sign on the bike itself and park it on my local bike-street for the Sunday.
