Just a quick Hi. After a 10 year break from owning a bike (due to the usual family things like kids and wife don't all fit on a bike with the shopping) i was offered a ZXR400L1 at silly money. Although it was very clean and tidy with no cracks in the plastics, i felt it needed a few upgrades just to polish off the overall ride. This came in the guise of a full Micron system (which i managed to bend getting it through the garden gate Evil or Very Mad ), Goodridge braided hoses all round and a double bubble screen to cut down on the wind. I am very happy with how it has transformed the ride and I have to admit i am impressed at just how well it goes around corners!! Smile Twisted Evil

Pah. ZXR400?!?! Confused

Nah, they're good bikes mate, not bad at all, and that green scheme on them are really starting to grow on me. I never used to like them, but now I'm starting to think they're the best scheme to have, behind blue of course. Razz

Goes deeper that this i am affraid, I come from a family of RD lovers. I inherited an RD125 from my brother but it was stolen after only 1 month. My Father (an Ex-motorcyle cop and grade 1 instructor) has had amongst others, 2 x 350LC's, a 350YPVS and an RD500YPVS V4 A bugger of a bike under 30mph but an animal over!!

Guess what I have...... Mr. Green

Haven't ridden it yet, as I'm in the process of restoring her, but I'm sure theres some good times to come. Very Happy

Oh and my dad has owned two 250LC's and currently owns a 350LC.
