Does anybody know of a place in the UK where i can get a new fairing for it, because as you can see, it's broken, near the left indicator Sad .

Apparently they're like rocking horse shit to get hold of.

No they're just the standard ones. If I can't source a new fairing I might see if i can get some flush fitting indicators, that are fairly big to cover the hole.

Kawashima kindly guided me through the yamaha.co.jp site and even they didn't stock it. (we don't hav an emicon for crying!)

I used to have an XJR400, it was exactly the same as that, I was under the impression that it's an XJR400sp? Oh well, it's a lovely bike, I wish I had taken photos of mine before I got rid of it.

If you want to get an exhaust for it get yourself down to Renegade in Kent, they made me a custom one for it, sounded the dogs!

Anyway, nice bike, enjoy. Thumbs Up

Strange that mine also had a broken fairing, must be the first thing that goes when you drop it.

Well it did take a lot of work cos they had to cut the old can off the headers I believe. It cost £250 but the sound was amazing. I opted for the oval carbon fibre exhaust in the end and really have never heard a better sounding exhaust.

You could probably get headers done as well for not too much money, would improve the look of the bike no end.

If you can, i'd try and get a cover for the radiator, mine was battered after a few thousand miles. Thumbs Up
