Hi this is kind of oftopic but still an excellent idea .
Neighbour over the back had his wooden shed burnt down with to bandit 600's in so over the weekend hes demolished his burnt shed and hes bought a ... mini container.

Yep the big metal ones hes bought a mini one , just watched them put it in his garden for him , must say thats a smart idea , wont burn , and is very very safe and protected from the weather.

I myself might have to invest in one as i only keep my bike under tarpaulion .

Just thought id share this with you as i didnt know you could buy containers but now i want one!

Marc

just as a word of warning, things inside are not safe from fire.
We had one of these at work, and some scrotes set fire to a car parked next to it.
Came in the following day to find all the stuff on the side that the car was next to burnt.

This is something I have been considering for some time. You could use the container as a secure lockup/garage and then if you ever need to move house, bung all your stuff in it and get a haulage contractor to ship it to wherever you are moving to at a fraction of the cost of a professional house movers.

The only thing really stopping me is I have nowhere to put one Rolling Eyes

the riding school i learnt with kept their bikes i na container, and they aren't safe from fire as you may think, the little pricks can still get petrol into them and burn them, destroying whatever is inside, just takes a really determined pyromaniac(loser).
