Well i was f*cking this girl last night and...
no not that sort of rubber, as my bikes rear tyre is slightly illegal now i am in the market for a rear, and as the exsisting front hasn't got the smoothest of surfaces i figure at getting new front and rear at the same time, the question is which ones! Confused
the bike is a 98 ZX7R and currently has

Rear: Dunlop D207 190/50 ZR17
Front: Dunlop D207F 120/70 ZR17

i figure that i am o.k with the same profile of tyre as these but wonder if anyone can recommend other makes of tyres, i only really use the bike for fun and hopefully a couple of trackdays, so i don't want the hardest tyres but i don't want something that will be down to the wear indicators in 1K miles Rolling Eyes
heard good things about about perilli diablo's but has anyone got any personal experience?
Cheers
WN

Best 'big bike' tyre I have used are the MIchelin pilot powers, warmed up quickly, loads of grip and didn't die after 1000 miles, far from it. Admittedly they cost a bit more than other tyres but from experience they're worth it. Thumbs Up

if you like thew 207, try the 208 Very Happy

I have a 208 standard on the rear, and I'm well happy..

was scrubbed in on a trackday, and I was impressed

Pilot Powers. Best tyre on the market just now. Mate's Fireblade runs them. They stick to the road like glue.

I use D207, front and rear, good all round tyre, if you liked the 207's then stick with them, Perilli diablo's will be scrubbed out in no time, super grip but thats about it...
